Welcome to the Asian Street Food Night Market Official Website! 🌟

We are excited to share our story, our mission, and everything that makes our event special. The Asian Street Food Night Market is more than just a food festival—it’s a celebration of culture, community, and connection. From authentic Asian street foods to live performances, family-friendly activities, and unique vendors, our event is a place where everyone can come together and experience something unforgettable.

The Asian Street Food Night Market began in May of 2022 with fewer than 14 vendors, including food and merchandise. Our very first event took place in the parking lot of Union Restaurant. What started as a small gathering quickly grew into something much bigger—hundreds of people came out to support us, and we knew we were onto something special.

The Asian Street Food Night Market is a one-of-a-kind cultural experience that brings the vibrant flavors and energy of Asia to our community. From sizzling street food and bubble tea to handmade crafts and live performances, the night market is a family-friendly event where culture, food, and entertainment come together. Guests can stroll through colorful vendor booths, taste authentic dishes, shop local, and enjoy music and performances that celebrate the richness of Asian traditions. More than just a food festival, the Asian Street Food Night Market is about connecting people, supporting small businesses, and sharing a memorable night of community and culture.

2022

That summer, we hosted two events (May and August 2022) at Unison parking lot, starting small but dreaming big.

2023

In 2023, our event continued to grow. We moved to Aldrich Arena in Maplewood and later that summer to the Minnesota State Capitol. With our focus on creating a true street food experience, we looked for a more convenient and spacious location. Eventually, we found the Sears parking lot, which provided the large space we needed to welcome our community.

2024

By 2024, we hosted our very first event at the Sears lot, and it was a sold-out success. Thousands came to support us, and we were humbled by the love Minnesota showed our event.

2025

In 2025, we are still here—and while we don’t know how long we’ll stay at this location, we are always looking for the best space that fits both our event and our vendors’ needs.

Our Goal

Our mission is to bring communities together—from Southeast Asia to East Asia, and beyond—through food, culture, and celebration.

We work to bring together as many types of Asian food as possible, offering something unique for everyone to try. But our event isn’t just about food—we welcome and collaborate with vendors from all backgrounds. Our vision is to build bridges between communities and celebrate diversity through shared experiences.

The Asian Street Food Night Market is not just a food event. It is a community event—a place where people come together to connect, celebrate, and create memories.
